    I got a set of acrylic nails there yesterday. this was my second time getting them there. The first time they were great. The second time was a horrible experience. I got almond shaped acrylic nails in black. It was 40 dollars plus a 5 dollar tip. They looked good when I left. I had them done at 6:30 PM. I woke up that night around 4 am and I was in excruciating pain. All of my finger tips hurt. I was up all night from the pain. I had no idea why they hurt so bad so I googled it and dozens of online sights said that it is not normal. I messaged them on Facebook asking in I could come in and get them off and possibly get a refund. For the amount of money I paid my nails should not hurt so bad that I can’t sleep. I messaged them at 4 am and they didn’t open until 10 so I had some time to wait. At 9 AM I had to get ready for work at 10 and I couldn’t take it anymore so I went to a nail salon by me and paid to get them off at 9 AM. That’s how bad it was. I couldn’t go through the day with my nails hurting that bad. The nail tech that took them off said that they had put it on over my cuticles and used too much. That was what was causing the pain. So the nail tech messed it up. It felt like my fingers were being slammed in a door 24/7. It wasn’t an allergic reaction or anything. They eventually messaged me back (granted they had a good response time). They said they could not do a refund but they were willing to give me a new set. I said I appreciated it, but didn’t want a new set because my fingers were still hurting like crazy. After trying to explain to them several times that I didn’t want another set and that I would never be getting acrylics again, anywhere, they still would not give me a refund. I didn’t even have the nails on for 24 hours. So I asked if I could have a voucher for another service of equal or lesser value. They were still unwilling to do that for me. A returning customer. I tried explaining to them several times that I did not want acrylics again due to the pain and bad experience and they still would not work with me. Not even a voucher. Eventually they said that since I went somewhere else and took them off they assumed that it was just my nails reacting to the product and it wasn’t “their problem”. I told them I had been there before and had NEVER had a problem and that it wasn’t me. It was their nail techs fault. They then said that more talking wasn’t going to get us anywhere and stopped responding to my messages. The fact that they are unwilling to work with customers after they have caused them physical discomfort and pain shows how unprofessional they are. They RUINED acrylics for me.
